Yes, supply is improving. Redfin reported there are 630,000 more sellers than buyers, calling it the biggest gap on record. Redfin also said new listings have posted their second straight week of increases after four months of declines.
Realtor.com said active listings in February were up 7.9% year over year, extending a 28-month growth streak. In its March 20 update, Realtor.com also said inventory was up 5.6% year over year and list prices had fallen for eight straight weeks.
